<70mK: 365, The Smile of Sungkyun> Film Interview Exhibition>
Transmedia institute in Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) announced that ‘70mK’ project, directed by professor Hyuk Byeon (Department of Film, TV & Multimedia and Head of Trans Media Institute), had been exhibited in Book Café on the 1st floor of Samsung Library and Sungkyun Gallery on the 1st floor of the Business Building, Humanities and Social Sciences Campus, from June 1st, 2021.
The exhibition started from the permanent exhibition in Samsung Library on June 1st and had been displayed in Sungkyun Gallery from June 9th to June 13th.
70mK is an abbreviation of ’70 million Koreans’, and a large-scale film interview project drawing awareness map of 70 million Koreans in North and South who are preparing for unified Korea.
Under the theme, <365, The Smile of Sungkyun>, this exhibition is the project containing smiles and interviews of 365 people of Sungkyun. The interviews related to the prolonged Covid 19 situation were conducted with members of SKKU. Also, the purposes of exhibition were to deliver hopeful message through people of Sungkyun in interview and to provide psychological quarantine.
The production of works in exhibition had been led by Trans Media institute and had been produced through [Multidisciplinary Capstone Design] sponsored by LINC project, and overall, 24 students had participated in production.
President of SKKU, Dong-Ryeol Shin, Deans of each department, Dean of School of Art, and the faculty of the department of Film, Television and Multimedia, and Manager of Woori Bank Sungkyunkwan University Branch, Seo-Jin Lee, participated in the opening ceremony of <70mK: 365, The Smile of Sungkyun> on 2 pm, June 10th, and the ceremony ended in great success.
The exhibition had been displayed until June 13th, and the interviews were composed of five parts (what you like, who you like, what you want to do, the moment you were happy, what you want to achieve).
