Professor Kim Hyun Hee of the Department of Acting for Theatre, Film and TV won the ‘Special Acting Award’ at the ‘21st World Duo Performing Arts Festival Awards Ceremony’ hosted by the ITI(International Theater Institute) Korea Headquarters and the Organizing Committee of the Duo Performing Arts Festival on Sunday, November 28th.
Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, the traditionally renowned World Duo Performing Arts Festival was held from October 31 (Sun) to November 21 (Sun), with 107 theater groups in the six fields participating and performing and competing at a theater in Seoul. Professor Kim Hyun Hee was selected for the invited project and appeared as an actress.
Professor Kim Hyun Hee took on the role of a middle-aged woman who lost her child in her work ‘T빼고 다이’ , which dealt with social issues such as diet, organ donation, life-prolonging treatment, and sexual minorities, and was recognized for her delicate and attractive acting skills. Received the 'Special Acting Award'.
Professor Kim Hyun Hee said, “In the future, we will continue to develop convergence physical drama as a new genre by continuing performance activities and research on stage movement in order to educate acting with a high sense of reality without being separated from education and the field. ” he said.
