Fashion Design Department, Italy Polimoda Special Lecture Completed

On March 21, Polimoda, a renowned Italian fashion school, visited our school’s fashion design department and held a special lecture.

Polimoda is a school known for combining Italian fashion craftsmanship and manufacturing expertise with innovation, and as a public institution, it has been promoting sustainability and cultural exchange in the fashion industry through partnerships with the UN. Professor Niccolò Sbaraglia, who gave a special lecture on the core values ​​of luxury fashion on this day, discussed the reality of luxury fashion, the centrality of products in the fashion industry, and the meaning of sustainability in fashion. The students of the fashion department continued the heated atmosphere to the point that they had to finish the Q&A session after the lecture, exceeding the scheduled time.

Professor Svaralia said in a meeting with Department Head Professor Im Eun-hyeok that he was impressed by the students’ high level of questions and enthusiasm, adding that he looked forward to mutual exchange and cooperation in the future.
