This course “Introduction to Arts and Culture Education” aims to develop basic knowledge of Arts and Culture Education. Through the philosophical, policy, social, and educational backgrounds of culture and arts education, the meaning and value of education through arts will be grasped and the concept and characteristics of Arts and Culture Education will be understood. It will help one to expand his or her artistic expertise and provide the basis for recognizing identity and accountability as an Arts and Culture Education Instructor. The main contents of this course are to understand the social role of Arts and Culture Education Instructor, and cultivate job literacy, focusing on the theoretical foundations of culture, arts and education.

ontemporary music (based on classical music) after the 20C, in which new forms and directions are constantly presented away from classical techniques is very complicated, reflecting the intellectual development of modern civilization. The objectives for this course is to analyze these works, understand basic compositional fundamentals (rhythm, harmony, and algorithm) of music, and comprehension of popular music from a perspective of dance choreographers to be able to access them in dance composition. The music for this course is selected from both national and international works from a historical timeline of music.
